Road work at a major north Greenwood and south Indianapolis intersection starts on or after Monday.
The city of Indianapolis will begin work on the intersection of County Line Road and Madison Avenue on or after Monday. The city of Indianapolis is responsible for maintaining the entirety of County Line Road. For Madison Avenue, Greenwood maintains the roadway south of County Line Road while Indianapolis maintains the road from County Line Road north.
Improvements include resurfacing of each approach, installing new curbs and ADA ramps, adjusting signal times and extending the left-turn lane at the intersection that was once named the worst intersection in Indianapolis by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization in 2014.
