The 2025 major season is over for the LPGA but the race to the CME Tour Championship is on. After a week off, the LPGA was back in action and Sunday's final round capped off the week at the Standard Portland Classic.

Akie Iwai is the latest first-time winner on LPGA

Iwai finished at 24 under and won by four shots over Gurleen Kaur. Iwai's twin sister Chisago Iwai tied for third five shots back. Akie took home the $300,000 first-place prize after becoming the fourth rookie from Japan to win on the LPGA in 2025.

Third-round leader Akie Iwai is holding on to her lead. Through nine holes, she's 2 under on the day and 20 under overall. Immediately behind her at 19 under is Gurleen Kaur but tied for third is Akie's twin sistser Chisato Iwai at 18 under. Chisato won at Mayakoba in May and Akie, also an LPGA rookie, is looking to join her sister in victory lane here in 2025. The sisters are two of the 21 rookies on tour in 2025. Akie is the older twin by one minute.

Sung Hyun Park is 6 under and three back of the Portland Classic lead

As the final group of leader Akie Iwai (18 under) and Grace Kim (16 under) tee off on the first hole, they have some company near the top of the leaderboard. Sung Hyun Park is 6 under through 15 holes and his climbed into solo third.

Peiyun Chien (4 under through 13) and Rose Zhang (4 under through 13) are also having outstanding Sundays so far.
