The August Bank Holiday weekend looks set to be a sizzler, with parts of the UK being 'hotter than Ibiza'.

Most of the country has seen glorious sunshine and balmy temperatures over the last few days as Britain experiences its fourth heatwave of the year.

In Porthmadog, Wales, there were highs of 27.4C today, while earlier this week some experienced highs of 33C.

There's more good news for those planning to host a barbecue or get outdoors over the upcoming bank holiday weekend and the warm weather looks set to stick around.

Forecasters predict there will be highs of 29C in Norwich on Monday, August 25, while Ibiza was forecast to be 26C on the same day.
