A mum has revealed she has her finger poised on the mute button 'every time' her daughter asks to watch a certain Disney film.

She revealed she 'censored' the same three-seconds of a particular song featured in the animated film Tangled.

The 2010 film tells the story of Rapunzel, a princess who is kidnapped by the evil Mother Gothel.

The villain, who is desperate to hold onto her youth, locks Rapunzel in an isolated tower and raises her as her own.

She keeps Rapunzel hidden away and uses her magical golden hair - which can heal wounds and reverse time - for her personal gain.

The song Mother Knows Best sees Mother Gothel try to instil fear into Rapunzel as her curiosity about the outside world grows.
