Man in stable condition after being struck by fleeing vehicle in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway after a man was hit by a car in Hartford on Saturday night.

Officers were called to the area of Maple Street after a report of a crash involving a pedestrian, the police department said.

The victim is a man in his 40s was struck by an evading vehicle.

Police said the individual is now in stable condition.
