Family and friends of a Teesside stylist have organised a family fun day to raise money for her battle against incurable cancer. Danielle Walker is battling a rare form of incurable cancer and has started immunotherapy treatment at a specialist clinic in Germany, which is not available to her on the NHS .

However, the treatment costs a staggering £35,000 per round and Danielle, 36, a stylist at Charlotte Emily hair salon in Redcar , could need as many as eight. As well as setting up a funding page for donations - which can be visited here - family and friends are also organising a family fundraising day, which will be held at Middlesbrough's Brass Castle Country House on Friday, August 29.

The fun will kick off at 1pm and there will be activities for the kids including face paint
