Two American Carnival Cruise Line passengers drowned in separate incidents in the Bahamas on Friday, according to officials. The victims were identified as a 74-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man. In a statement, Carnival said one victim drowned in a lagoon and the other drowned at the beach, both at Celebration Key, a private destination for Carnival guests on the south side of Grand Bahama. It includes a water park, a beach club, lagoons and restaurants.
