A scoreline that does not really tell the story of the first 45 minutes. Arsenal have been nervous and error-prone at the back, and United should take encouragement from how they have fed Mbeumo and Cunha in dangerous positions. They trail though, because Bayindir failed to deal with an inswinging Rice corner. Despite the score, I would not be suprised to see half-time changes from Arteta. Havertz and Timber look good candidates to come on.

Gyokeres shows his strength again against De Ligt but he has not seen enough of the ball in this half. Just a minute of stoppage time to play. Gyokeres then makes another good spin but overhits his cross out for a throw.
