An abandoned building opposite the Basford tram stop has caught fire
Fire crews are tackling a blaze in a derelict building in Old Basford. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was called out to the building, which is accessed off Fox Grove Road, at around 3.55pm.
They initially said it was a house fire, but a short while ago said the blaze was inside a derelict building. Six fire engines, an aerial ladder platform, and a specialist rescue and command support unit were at the scene.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Crews continue to remain on scene at a derelict building fire on Fox Grove Road, Old Basford. There have been no reports of any injuries."
