OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person was sent to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in southwest Omaha Saturday night.

Omaha Police say the crash happened just after 8:20 p.m. near 135th Avenue and West Center Road.

According to police, a 30-year-old man on a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle was splitting lanes and struck the side of a 2025 Honda CRV.

After hitting the vehicle, the motorcycle hit a curb and went don on its side

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver and passenger of the Honda were not injured.
