Trade between Venezuela and Colombia registered a significant increase in the first half of 2025, with sustained growth in exports and imports reaching $180 million through the state of Táchira, the Venezuelan-Colombian Chamber of Economic Integration (Cavecol) reported today.
The institution's president, Luis Alberto Russian, explained this Saturday that the flow of products across the Andean border experienced an increase of nearly 57 percent compared to the same period last year.
In contrast, trade through Paraguachón, in Zulia, showed a decrease of approximately 10 percent, from $175 million to $160 million between January and May.
