CLEVELAND, Ohio — Kevin Stefanski indicated he’ll name his Week 1 starting quarterback this week, before the Browns play their dress rehearsal game Saturday against the Rams.

He could tell the team as soon as Monday when the come in for a lift, a run and meetings. The next practice is Tuesday.

“Obviously we’ll name a starter, it’s going to come this week,” Stefanski said. “We still anticipate all of our players, whether you’re a starter or not to prepare like you’re the starter and knowing all of our players in that room, that’s exactly what they’ll do.”

Joe Flacco, the only quarterback to remain healthy throughout the four-way competition, will presumably get the Week 1 start, but Stefanski wasn’t ready to announce it on the Sunday video conference.
