A Los Angeles-based venue and event management company says it will no longer provide services for the Old National Events Plaza in Evansville.

In a notice to the state , ASM Global said the move will affect 248 employees, though most are expected to be hired by the new operator.

ASM Global provides venue management services for numerous stadiums, arenas, and conference and event centers throughout the world. In Indiana, the company also manages the Century Center in South Bend.
