A Burlington man has been charged in connection with a shooting that sent one victim to the hospital on Saturday.

Chace Harold Loney, 47, is charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, according to the Burlington Police Department.

The charges stem from a shooting which took place in the 1300 block of Hilldale Drive on Saturday afternoon. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to a hospital and is listed in stable condition, according to police.

Police described the shooting as an isolated incident.
