DK Suresh has played his way into the main draw of the Winston-Salem Open.

Suresh, a rising senior at Wake Forest, won his second straight qualifying match on Sunday afternoon at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.

Suresh beat No. 103rd-ranked Alejandro Tabilo 1-6, 7-6 (4), 6-3 and will be in the 64-player field for the ATP 250 Tournament this week. First round play begins on Monday.

After winning on Saturday in his first qualifying match, Suresh backed it up with a comeback win.

Suresh will take on Mariano Navone on Monday around 4 p.m. in a first round match.

One of Suresh’s former teammates, Stefan Dostanic, will take on Aleksandar Vukic in another first-round match later in the day. Dostanic is a rookie on the ATP Tour who played just one semester at Wake Forest after helping the Demo
