Both head coach Matt LaFleur and offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich stressed in their Sunday press conference that the left tackle position is still up for grabs for the 2025 Green Bay Packers. This was their mantra when training camp opened, but a couple of injury hiccups forced 2024 first-round pick Jordan Morgan to play guard earlier on in camp, only for him to be shifted to left tackle when Rasheed Walker dealt with a groin injury.
So far, Walker hasn’t been able to play a snap in the preseason, which could change next week against the Seattle Seahawks. According to LaFleur, the plan is for starters to suit up against the Seahawks in the preseason finale, which could give Walker a preseason opportunity for the first time in 2025.
