A caravan has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack in Bristol .

The incident happened late into the evening on Saturday 16 August and Avon and Somerset Police has launched an investigation into the incident.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At 11:10pm yesterday (16 August) we received a report of a caravan alight on Parry's Lane, Bristol from the fire service.

“The fire was extinguished and its cause was deemed to be deliberate.

“An investigation is underway and anyone with information is asked to call 101 using reference number 5225232016.”

Avon Fire and Rescue Service confirmed there were no casualties, and the fire was put out quickly using three appliances and a hose reel jet.
