The Seattle Seahawks announced that veteran edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu passed his physical on Sunday, clearing the way for him to return from the physically unable to perform list.

Nwosu has been on the PUP list since the start of training camp as he works his way back from offseason knee surgery.

Nwosu’s return would be a major boost to the Seahawks’ edge-rushing group, giving them a formidable four-man rotation that includes Boye Mafe, Derick Hall, Nwosu and four-time Pro Bowl free-agent addition DeMarcus Lawrence.
