OMAHA, Neb. —

The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash.

Deputies and the Gretna Fire and Rescue Department responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Highway 50 near Highway 370 on Saturday at 8:50 p.m.

Authorities took 50-year-old William Fitzpatrick to the hospital with critical injuries. He later died of his injuries.

No other individuals or vehicles were involved in the accident. The Sarpy County Crash Response unit is investigating the crash.
