PAGELAND, S.C. (WBTV) - An elderly woman died in a house fire in Pageland Sunday morning, according to the High Point Fire District.

Firefighters received a call about the fire around 9:25 a.m. on Dudley Road near South Carolina Highway 207.

When firefighters arrived, they said the roof of the house had already collapsed.

The woman’s name and age have not yet been released.

The High Point Fire District said the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating the cause of the fire.
