The Texas Rangers scored ten runs while the Toronto Blue Jays scored four runs.

It’s been some time since the Rangers enjoyed a comfortable blowout win where the outcome seemed ready to print in the win column long before the final out. Today, thanks to four home runs and 15 overall hits from the lineup, Texas prevented the Blue Jays from completing a weekend sweep in Canada.

In addition to the bats coming to life, the Rangers were fortunate to have Nathan Eovaldi on the mound. After his worst start of the year last time out, Eovaldi bounced back with seven innings of two run ball as Texas built a lead that grew throughout the game.

Apparently the Rangers can now only win games started by Eovaldi. Since Aug. 5, the Rangers have won three games. All of them have been Eovaldi starts. In f
