GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville City Fire Department dispatch said it responded to a structure collapse at a church Sunday morning.

Officials said the roof at the Upstate Church Haywood on Laurens Road collapsed around 7:30 a.m. Church officials said that no one was inside the church and no one was hurt during the collapse.

Upstate Church Lead Pastor Wayne Bray said that around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, he received a call from a production team member that the worship center ceiling was cracked and buckling. Bray said that he and about two dozen other church leaders moved chairs and supplies from the worship center into the gym ahead of Sunday services.
