Police: 10-year-old hit by car in Kentwood

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — A 10-year-old is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car on Sunday in Kentwood, police say.

It happened around 3:21 p.m., on Poinsettia Avenue, near Edsel Street, according to the Kentwood Police Department.

Officers say no other injuries were reported and that alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
