The death of a man who was fatally shot in Pelican Narrows on Saturday is being treated as a homicide by police.
Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release on Aug. 17 that officers were called to Kaskew Crescent in Pelican Narrows around 8 a.m. on Aug. 16 after a call reporting an 18-year-old man who was seriously injured after being shot.

Police said the man, who was from Pelican Narrows, was taken to the local health clinic by members of the public and pronounced dead shortly after.
An autopsy was scheduled to take place in Saskatoon on Monday,
