The University of Hawaii Community College System has been ranked No. 11 in the nation among 41 statewide systems, according to a 2025 WalletHub report.
The study evaluated 653 colleges nationwide on factors such as tuition, graduation and transfer rates, and post-graduation earnings. UH officials highlighted the system’s affordability, transfer pathways to four-year campuses, and workforce programs tailored to Hawaii’s communities.
The seven-campus system — Hawaii CC, Honolulu CC, Kapiolani CC, Kauai CC, Leeward CC, UH Maui College and Windward CC — offers more than 100 programs in fields including health care, technology, trades and the arts.
Annual resident tuition is $3,144, with financial aid and scholarships available.
