At 6:24 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service released an updated severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 6:45 p.m. for Burlington, Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Residents should be prepared for wind gusts of up to 60 mph.

"At 6:24 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Wrightstown, or 14 miles southeast of Trenton, moving southeast at 10 mph," says the weather service. "Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible."
