SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – He's a member of the South Dakota Hall of fame and has touched the lives of nearly every ag producer in the state.

Jim Woster, who worked for the stockyards for over 30 years, also did the daily markets for KELOLAND TV.

Woster, a familiar face to a lot of our KELOLAND viewers, is now getting another prestigious award and this one comes from his alma mater.

Not only did Woster do the daily ag markets, he also hosted his own TV show after our owner, Joe Floyd called him into his office.

"He said, we've been trying to do something on Saturday at noon that people will watch if we need weather and got some news, do you think you can get me a half hour on Saturday that people would watch with nothing in it, I said 'I'm the guy you want,'" Woster said.
