EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Perry Township Fire Department and the Evansville Fire Department teamed up today to hold water rescue training on the Ohio River.
Officials say with the holiday weekend coming up, water rescue calls tend to increase.
They say it is the perfect time to “prepare for the real thing.”
According to the Perry Township Fire’s official Facebook, the scenario the two departments trained was an overturned boat with multiple people in the water.
