A mixed rapid reaction unit (URRA) of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces dismantled and destroyed a mining logistics camp in the Atabapo municipality of Amazonas state, as part of Operation Bolivarian Shield Maroa 2025.

This information was detailed by the strategic operational commander of the FANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez, who reported on the materials found.

During the operation, three drums of gasoline-type fuel, nine 13 HP motor pumps, 15 sieve-type mats, two power generators, 60 kilograms of various foodstuffs, 350 meters of 4-inch high-pressure hose, three 4-inch maraca-type hoses, ten engine belts, two picks, and two shovels were seized.

In addition, Hernández Lárez emphasized that these results were achieved thanks to operational readiness, reconnaissance, and patrol work.
