The Cincinnati Reds have announced that Will Benson will again be returning to play for the team.

Benson had previously been sent to the Reds' Triple-A affiliate, the Louisville Bats, on Aug. 3.

It was the third stretch of time this season that Benson had spent with the Bats.

In his place, Jake Fraley will be designated for assignment with the team. The move temporarily removes Fraley from the roster and may be an indication that the Reds have additional plans in mind for the outfielder. With the move, the Reds are now given up to a week to decide o
