EUGENE — All of Oregon’s starting specialists are back and so too is its kickoff return duo of Noah Whittington and Jayden Limar , who produced some of the best results in the country last season.

Whittington returned eight kickoffs for 232 yards and Limar added two for 53 yards in 2024. But of course, their most memorable effort came in Oregon’s comeback win over Boise State, when Whittington returned a kickoff 100 yards and dropped the ball before the goal line and Limar picked up the fumble for the game-tying score.

That helped skew Oregon’s average kickoff return to 26.83 yards, which ranked sixth nationally.

Albeit with obvious bias, special teams coordinator Joe Lorig believes Whittington and Limar are “the best duo in the country” at kickoff returns in ways that are measurabl
