A multi-vehicle crash, involving a jackknifed tractor-trailer, has shut down part of northbound Interstate 81 in Dauphin County.
The crash occurred at 6:30 p.m. at the ramp to Exit 85A near the Indian Gap National Cemetery. Police are detouring vehicles off the highway at Exit 80 at the Grantville/Hershey exit, causing slow traffic on Bow Creek Road.
It’s unclear what caused the crash and whether there are any injuries. PennDOT video cameras showed a damaged pickup truck in addition to a tractor trailer that was left dangling over a guard rail.
The wreckage was expected to be cleared about 10 p.m., according to 511PA.
