LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Students throughout the state gathered at the Farm Bureau Pavilion this weekend to compete to call themselves the best in the state at the annual 4H State Horse Show.
The show allows kids to compete in various events in horse competitions.
David Lindsay with MSU Extension shared his love for the event.
“Seeing the sportsmanship across the board from all the participants,” said Lindsay. “Just this morning in the championship showmanship class, you know, the exhibitors just kept continuously cheering on the other exhibitors that they were competing against. So, the sportsmanship by far is the best thing they experience,” said David Lindsay, the extension educator with MSU Extension.
