VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) -- A car was stolen from a store parking lot in Ville Platte on Friday evening after the owner's keys were taken inside the store.

Skeosha Faulkenberry was shopping with her family for college move-in items when she discovered her keys and phone were missing. Her phone was later found on the floor in the hardware section, but her keys were gone, leading to the theft of her truck.

"'The truck is gone.' I say, 'Somebody took the truck," said Faulkenberry.

Surveillance cameras at Walmart captured images of the suspects believed to be involved in the theft. Police suspect the group was lingering in the parking lot before the incident occurred.
