With both teams needing a win in their pool play finale to advance to the semifinal stage of the American Legion Baseball World Series, Jackson Higgins’ game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning saw League City Post 554 cap off a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over Rockport, Indiana on Sunday afternoon at Keeter Stadium in Shelby, North Carolina.

Post 554 will have to await the results of the round-robin pool games later Sunday to determine their semifinal matchup Monday back at Keeter Stadium.
