DENVER (KDVR) — A boat sank at a Cherry Creek State Park marina on Sunday afternoon, according to a post on X from South Metro Fire Rescue.

South Metro Fire and Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Northeast Division responded to the report of a boat sinking at the Cherry Creek State Park marina located at 4800 South Dayton Street at 5:01 p.m. Sunday.

The boat was sinking near the dock.

All the occupants of the boat were able to successfully escape to shore and had no injuries, South Metro Fire reported.

The Dive Team is helping with water recovery operations.

The cause of the boat sinking was not reported.
