DENVER (KDVR) — A resident of Lakewood had a wild encounter with a family of bobcats over the weekend.

The resident, Kathleen Ash, was able to get the family on camera as she drove around the Bear Creek Village neighborhood.

The video starts with one of the bunch of kittens doing a hopping and pouncing towards the resident's vehicle, while chasing a floating piece of cotton and wagging its tail in the street.

“When the one started running towards me, I thought they would be scared of us, but it was not scared at all,” she told FOX31.

The kitten stops just before the residents, when mom bobcat, with two kittens in tow, beckons for it to come back to the group.
