DENVER (KDVR) — After thunderstorms clear out Monday night, heat dominates Denver's weather forecast for the middle of the workweek.

Storms could be strong to severe Monday evening as they push east, producing large hail and damaging wind gusts. Because of this, a severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of eastern Colorado until 10 p.m.

Thunderstorms will push east Monday evening, followed by clearing overnight. Low temperatures will fall to the lower 60s, which is about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, hot

Sunshine returns to the forecast on Tuesday. This will help boost high temperatures to the mid-90s, which is a little more than 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.
