ST. PAUL — Now that joint practices with the New England Patriots are in the rearview mirror, the Vikings will slowly start turning their attention to the Week 1 matchup with the Chicago Bears.

As for the remainder of training camp and the exhibition game with the Tennessee Titans, the Vikings will use the next week or so to evaluate some of the bubble players still trying to make a name for themselves.

In: J.J. McCarthy, Sam Howell, Max Brosmer

Out: Brett Rypien

Analysis: Everything is up in the air aside from McCarthy. A rough performance from Howell over the weekend created more questions than answers, though his spot on the roster is probably still safe given his experience. As for Brosmer, he has steadily progressed since signing as
