SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Two people were shot during a gathering at an apartment complex on Peach Street.

On August 16, 11:20 p.m., the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to a shooting at an apartment complex located at 2929 Peach Street.

Once officers got there, they learned that several people had gathered outside the complex when an unknown suspect began firing shots towards them.

Two victims were shot multiple times. One was transported to the hospital by EMT, the other was transported by private car.

Both people are in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

SPD went to the hospital and interviewed the victims. One victim says that he was outside when a dark-colored SUV approached and its occupants began shooting. The second victim refused to cooperate and
