Chicago Bears cornerback Terell Smith was carted off the field with a non-contact knee injury in the second quarter of the team's 28-0 victory against the visiting Buffalo Bills in a preseason game on Sunday night.

With 1:32 left in the first half and Chicago leading 28-0, Smith was covering Buffalo wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson when he collapsed to the ground after attempting to cut.

Smith immediately grabbed his left knee as Wilkerson completed a 25-yard reception from Mike White. The third-year cornerback was carted off the field as the Bears quickly ruled him out for the remainder of the game, in which Smith totaled two tackles.
