COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The Texas A&M soccer team notched its first win of the season in a 1-0 victory over Lamar, thanks to a late chip shot by Trinity Buchanan.

However, the Aggies weren’t able to find the net with a man advantage for nearly 10 minutes of play due to a red card on Lamar’s Riley Wilson. A&M’s Taylor Jernigan was sent off with approximately 30 minutes left, forcing the Aggies to find the game winner while playing 10-on-10.

Both ejections were reviewed on video by referee Estefania Estrada and were upheld.
