TYLER, Texas — A group of kids spent their Saturday outside Tyler's Papacita's Mexican restaurant, giving away icy snow cones in an effort to raise money for those impacted by the flooding in the Texas Hill Country.
The children holding up signs and passing out treats were with Kids 4 Kindness, a youth organization started by Bronx and Brooklyn Bynum.
Kids 4 Kindness has a straightforward goal: spread light in the world through simple acts of kindness and volunteering.
Bronx said it was a no-brainer to put something together to help those impacted by the floods, since it's such a large number of people who need assistance. Snow cones as a way to get people interested in lending a few bucks was also a no-brainer.
