Grants to help businesses buy electric vans will be extended until at least 2027, in a move ministers say will give fleet operators greater certainty as they switch away from petrol and diesel.

The Plug-in Van and Truck Grant offers discounts of up to £2,500 for small vans and £5,000 for large vans.
