But that doesn't mean the Knights enter the 2025 season with their head hanging low. The Knights believe they can continue to contend for the league title, it will just require some new faces to step up and get comfortable quickly in important roles.

With quarterback Pedro Trujillo and running back JoJo Diaz as the primary passer and ballcarrier, 329 of the team's 342 passes and 282 of the team's 312 carries from last year were performed by seniors. That means the players hitting the field for the Knights in 2025 will lack experience when it comes to having the ball in their hands.
