TREMONTON, Utah (ABC4) — Three police officers in Tremonton were injured in a shooting incident late Sunday night, according to Brigham City Police.
Detective Crystal Beck with the Brigham City Police Department confirms that Tremonton-Garland Police officers responded to a disturbance call in the area of 700 North 200 East. When officers arrived, they immediately began taking fire.
Officers from various agencies in Box Elder and Weber counties responded to the scene. Beck says that three officers were injured and taken to the hospital, and their conditions are currently unknown.
The suspect in the shooting has been taken into custody and is in the Box Elder County Jail. Their name has not been released.
