Medical challenge: Physician shortages ongoing in rural areas

WARSAW — As rural areas struggle to attract health care professionals, Wyoming County is no different.

A state Comptroller's Office report issued Aug. 7 examined shortages of health care professionals in 16 counties statewide. It found each was lacking in two of three categories including primary, dental and mental health care.
