Week 1 of the NCHSAA and NCISAA football seasons has arrived.

All 11 of Fayetteville high school football teams will suit up for their first real game action of the 2025 season on Friday, Aug. 22.

Before the season kicks off, it's the fans' chance to decide among 20 Fayetteville-area players to watch, across various positions, who will win the 910Preps Preseason Offensive Player of the Year.

Voting will close on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m.
