The Des Moines area will be seeing a couple new faces on the sideline during the 2025 Iowa high school football season.

Four new head coaches have been appointed in the greater Des Moines metro area, with Bondurant-Farrar, Des Moines Lincoln, Saydel and Urbandale all making changes. Urbandale's change marks the first time since 2023 that a team from the Central Iowa Metropolitan League has switched head coaches. The last CIML team to do so was when Ankeny hired Jeff Bauer.
