CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The search will resume Monday morning for three people who went missing in Lake Erie Sunday evening.

One person fell off the fishing pier just east of Edgewater in Cleveland and the other two were swimming at Huntington Beach in Bay Village.

Cleveland Fire Lt. Michael Norman divers from area fire departments and the Coast Guard assisted with the search at Edgewater.

According to Lt. Norman, crews could see a body in the water, but the lake was too rough to attempt a recovery at this time.

At the same time, rescue crews also responded to Huntington Beach.

A woman told 19 News the two people they were searching for were her nephews, 17 and 21. She said they jumped into the water to take a swim.
